This scholarship is in honor of our Mom, Beulah Veronica Newton who passed away on February 16, 2023.

Miss Beulah as she was affectionately called by many, including us, was a disciplinarian.  Mother to many and had a passion for youngsters and always had an encouraging word to each one who crossed her path.  She was a firm believer that youngsters should be given the opportunity to reach their full potential and as students, should be exposed to various disciplines that would foster their growth to becoming worthwhile adults.

With this in mind,  the BVN Memorial Scholarship will be awarded annually, commencing August 2023, to an athlete that is in their Junior or Senior year and is a member of the El1te Spr1nt Athlet1cs team, that meets selected criteria.  Click on the logo for the criteria.
